Improving process with process change management
The change management process itself is so complex and it needs the improvement and review periodically so that it serves the purpose positively. Only if the change management process is improved you would get the desired result.
Fine-tuning of the
process is essential for continued improved in the process and the product
that comes out of the process in the organization. Managing the change
in process is called the process change management.
In the process change management, the goals for improvement are set.
Approval of the senior management is got in setting the improvement goals. The process is evaluated and the bugs are found out. The ways in which the process can be improved are also identified and then the necessary improvements are done to the process.
The process improvement cannot be done by an individual. All of the users are involved in the process improvement. Feedback of the users and the management is got about the process and the improvement areas are identified collectively. Process change management is a continuous process. Whenever there is a need for an improvement it is done. The process and the results out of it are assessed prior to improving it. The results of the process assessment are analyzed by the management and the necessary changes are approved for implementation.
If necessary training and incentive programs are arranged for everyone to get involved in the process change. The improvements are not done just like that, it is evaluated that whether the improvements would payback to the organization. The process changes are evaluated and tested before it goes live. Whenever a change to the process is improved it would have an impact to the other processes available in the organization. Hence changes to the relative processes are also done.
